Built for the Cruise Stage. Proven on Land.
This is Peach Port, live and locked in. Real musicianship, tight grooves, and the kind of stage chemistry you can’t fake. Captured at Sugarshack, one of Southwest Florida’s most iconic venues, this highlight reel showcases our signature blend of funk, soul, and coastal energy. From deep-pockets to feel-good soul, this is exactly the kind of sound and presence we bring to every stage, sea or shore.

“Everybody Wants to Rule The World”
Our take on “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” transforms the classic into a viby, neo-soul journey inspired by Lettuce. With deep R&B grooves, this arrangement flows through chill, pocketed verses and builds into soaring highs — featuring a tasteful bass solo, a ripping guitar lead, and a show-stopping drum solo to close. It's a fresh, dynamic twist on an iconic track that showcases both musicality and soul.
Tears For Fears
“Funny Thing”
Our version of “Funny Thing” takes Thundercat’s groove and cranks it into overdrive. Reimagined as a full-on dancefloor starter, this cover injects explosive energy while keeping the original's cool. Featuring a slap bass breakdown and an improvised funk exchange between guitar and bass, it builds into a high-octane guitar solo — igniting the room and bringing the crowd to the dancefloor in full force.
Thundercat
“Feels Like Makin Love”
Our rendition of “Feels Like Makin’ Love” channels the deep-pocket feel of D’Angelo, reworking Roberta Flack’s classic into a rich neo-soul experience. With a laid-back backbeat, lush chords, and iconic unison licks, this version leans all the way into the vibe. A soulful guitar solo adds depth, and just when it feels like the groove can’t get any deeper, we flip the tempo — lifting the energy and bringing the BPM back up to keep the night moving.

“Bad Bad News”
Our take on “Bad Bad News” delivers a hypnotic four-on-the-floor beat combined with a smoky, intimate vibe that walks the line between a sleek club groove and a late-night jazz session. The track features a deep, soulful bass solo that sets the foundation before launching into a fiery, jazz-inspired guitar solo. Perfect for setting the mood at a dark, after-hours party, it balances atmosphere and energy, creating a sound that’s both smooth and hard-hitting.

“Kayla”
While most cruises favors cover songs, we included “Kayla” — an original by Peach Port frontmen Mason and Thomas from their project The Dead Ataris — because of the undeniable crowd response. This track is a proven live favorite, featuring a powerful chorus, standout vocals, and infectious energy. During this performance, the crowd was fully locked in, singing along and dancing, with the bandleader even pulling a few fans onstage to party. It turned the room into a celebration and pushed the vibes to 100 — a perfect example of how we connect with an audience, cover or not.

We Bring the Pocket to the Port
Peach Port is a five-piece funk, soul, and R&B band from Southwest Florida, built from the ground up for one purpose: to bring unforgettable live music to cruise ships and high-energy events. Everything about our show — the setlist, the vibe, the flow — is curated to give guests the best possible time onboard.
At our core are longtime collaborators Mason Reinek (a Berklee College of Music alum) and Thomas O’Brien, both seasoned front men with deep roots in Florida’s music scene. We’re schooled musicians who’ve played thousands of shows together — from clubs and band shells to every major festival in SWFL. When we’re not playing with Peach Port, we’re also leading our original R&B/punk rock band The Dead Ataris, a fan-favorite with a strong following and a deep catalog of original music.
Peach Port delivers deep-pocket R&B, high energy funk and soulful throwbacks with precision, passion, and personality. Our performances are dynamic and crowd-focused — built to read the room and keep people moving. With a huge catalog of songs, we keep every set fresh, flexible, and tailored to the moment — whether it’s a laid-back sunset vibe or a packed dancefloor in full swing. When it’s time to turn up, we bring the energy to throw the best party on the ship.
In 2024, Mason performed aboard Virgin Voyages with the chill-funk band West Wave, gaining firsthand experience with what cruise audiences connect with most — and how to elevate the guest experience through live music.
Peach Port was created with one mission in mind: to deliver world-class entertainment made for life at sea.
